Directing my first feature film!
On Sept 15th, I'm going into production on a script that I've been writing over the past year with fellow filmmakers in Vancouver. The story is great - it's about three estranged brothers who take a journey to receive their inheritance. Along the way there are some serious ups and downs, but in the end they learn to love each other. It's an emotionally raw, and entertaining story.
We have a cast and crew all in place, and we put together funding for a 21 day shoot in the Vancouver area starting Sept 15th. We just launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for post-production, which I'll be overseeing here in Brooklyn this fall. We will have the film ready for international festival submissions by Feb 1, 2014.
