Skateboarding has always been a clear influence into snowboarding's park, Pipe and jibbing side of things. While surfing has always had a heavy hand on big mountain and/or just riding powder in general. Those that can bring a blend of the "Trifecta" with there own twist and manage to excel at all aspect's of the sports will always be the one's that are respected by peers and have the long career's. while the Rider's that are some what of a "one trick pony" will fall out of the lime light as snowboarding quickly switches to yet another "in fad." an occurrence that seems to happen every 3 months anymore. So I would have to agree, rail trips are fine but you have the travel budget to do more so there are no excuses.
